Bio note - Jessie and Alexander had the first croft as you enter Scullomie (now one of the three owned by Helga Wilson). Her husband's is the only WWII name on the Tongue War Memorial. After Magnus died, she ran the Post Office and shop in Coldbackie for many years, before retiring to Surrey near her family.


Jessie married Alexander Mackay [385], son of John Mackay [374] and Mary Waters [3628], on 18 Oct 1935 in Tongue, SUT.1 (Alexander Mackay [385] was born about 1907 in Leith, Edinburgh, MLN and died on 9 Aug 1944 in France 2 6 7.)
