Janet Huddie 2009-09-01 and following to Mary Young re William Gunn Mackay.
I was excited to find a newspaper article, on the internet, concerning letters William Gunn MacKay wrote to the families of four drowned fishermen. William and his wife separated in the early 1900's. William emigrated to Canada with his eldest daughter, Elizabeth, and eldest son, John Edward. Eliza Grant brought her four other children south and settled in Newcastle upon Tyne.
