Elizabeth ATKINSON [8429]

  • Born: Abt 1857, Ireland
  • Marriage: John CAMPBELL [4409] on 12 Nov 1877 in Ballymoney, Antrim, Ireland 1
  • Died: Aft 1881 2

Another name for Elizabeth was Eliza AKINSON.

  General Notes:

Did Elizabeth (Atkinson) Campbell die before 1891, by which time her husband, John Campbell, was apparently married to Sarah Balmer? I could not find her death in Scotland under Campbell, Atkinson or variants, or any later marriage under Campbell or Atkinson.

It's possible she was in Ireland when her son, John, was born in 1881, and died there. However, when John Campbell, died, their son Hugh registered him as "married to Eliza Atkinson" indicating that she was still alive.

There is a possible sighting in 1901 (but Eliza Atkinson Campbell would be 45, not 50).
