In 1881, when Titus was in the workhouse with his four siblings, he is shown as "imbecile from birth".
I have been unable to find him in the 1891 census. 1901 and 1911 show him in the Royal Albert Asylum/Institute, Lancaster, Lancashire. In 1922 his death was registered in Lancaster. I have not purchased his death certificate, but one may perhaps assume he was unable to live independently and spent his entire life in institutions.
